Organic & Eco Hand-crafted Aromatherapy Body Wraps, Eye Pillows & Sachets
I organically grow many of the herbs & flowers I use in my products in Rockaway, NJ. To retain the highest amount of essential oils, I hand-harvest in small bunches; hang to dry, & then place them in a dehydrator set at or below 105 degrees. The few tasks on which I do rely for electricity (serger, computer, printer), are now solely powered by wind = ) All other tasks are done by hand in my studio at home in Franklin, NJ. The ingredients which I do not grow myself (i.e. Eucalyptus, Clove, Cinnamon, Flax), I purchase are all certified organic & have never been irradiated; as well as the organic fabrics, yarns, & batting.
I am very thankful for all of my local customers!
This business has allowed me to continue supporting myself, & to not rely on government assistance for my disabilities ~ for which I am most grateful!

Organic eco hand-crafted aromatherapy products.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
Initially I was a small market organic produce grower ~ which means I grew way more than I could I ever eat! When winter came, I started to handcraft sachets to tide me over to spring, when I'd sell organic potted herb & veggie seedlings. When I became severely ill in '07, I turned solely to my organic perennial drought resistant herbs & flowers, which basically take care of themselves. I utilize these in my organic eco-handcrafted aromatherapy products.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
I sell only in my local area, which really aids in keeping my carbon footprint small. I do as much as I can by hand, which also helps this. Most of my packaging & all of products (except the snaps I use on my eye pillows) are biodegradable. All of my products, except my body wraps, are refillable ~ a savings for our earth & for my customers : )
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
I've been growing & working at the same location since 2k, & wholesale to health food stores, spas, garden centers etc. primarily in North Jersey. Once I relocate, I hope to have a larger, more productive space which will allow me to expand my sales circle.
Which areas do you service?
Primarily North Jersey, down to Red Bank & over to Flemington.
