Located in the heart of the historic Morristown area, the Morris Museum has a long heritage of bringing art, science, theater and history to its communities. Permanent exhibits include Musical Machines & Living Dolls: Mechanical Musical Instruments and Automata from the Murtogh D. Guinness Collection; galleries devoted to Native American history and crafts, Rocks and Minerals, Mammals, Dinosaurs, and a Model Railroad. The museum's Bickford Theatre presents mainstage productions and children's theatre, a jazz series, and Movies at the Morris Museum. Year-round children's programs; adult workshops and speakers; summer camps; children's performing arts programs, school and adult outreach programs, museum loan program.
