My herbs are organically grown in Rockaway Township & eco~handcrafted into aromatherpy items
I organically grow & hand~harvest my herbs in Rockaway Township. I hang them to dry & hand~strip the leaves & flower buds from the stems gently, preserving an optimum amount of essential oils! I utilize lavender, lemon balm, mountain mint, yarrow, chocolate mint, pennyroyal, apple mint, artemisia, spearmint, rosemary in my refillable sachets & eye pillows, and in my body wraps. I also source certified organic eucalyptus, clove & cinnamon from a co-op, & certified organic flax from a wholesaler. I also purchase my certified organic fabrics from a group of women who design them, right here in NJ! Most of my packaging is biodegradable cellulose, which you can place directly into your compost pile!
Did you know that Lavender has been providing us with relaxation for 1000’s of years? Its scent promotes the release of oxytocin. This release of oxytocin reduces cortisol levels & blood pressure, and aids relief from insomnia & depression. Studies also show that when we block light to our pineal glands (between our eyes), there is an increase in melatonin, which leads to deepened sleep, lessened stress, & a boost in our immunities. Some folks cool their eye pillows to reduce puffiness. Eye pillows & body wraps can be heated also!
My customers appreciate that most products are refillable, & share my eco~enthusiasm! Thank you for joining me in providing the most helpful, healthful, & eco~friendly information & products, utilizing sustainable organic fabrics & ingredients, & biodegradable packaging. May they bring you & your loved ones’ lives deeper meaning, more joy & peace at heart!

Interview Q&A
How long have you been in business?
Since 2k
What is your primary product or service?
Organic eco hand-crafted aromatherapy products.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
Initially I was a small market organic produce grower ~ which means I grew way more than I could I ever eat! When winter came, I started to handcraft sachets to tide me over to spring, when I'd sell organic potted herb & veggie seedlings. When I became severely ill in '07, I turned solely to my organic perennial drought resistant herbs & flowers, which basically take care of themselves. I utilize these in my organic eco-handcrafted aromatherapy products.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
I sell only in my local area, which really aids in keeping my carbon footprint small. I do as much as I can by hand, which also helps this. Most of my packaging & all of products (except the snaps I use on my eye pillows) are biodegradable. All of my products, except my body wraps, are refillable ~ a savings for our earth & for my customers : )
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
I've been growing & working at the same location since 2k, & wholesale to health food stores, spas, garden centers etc. primarily in North Jersey. Once I relocate, I hope to have a larger, more productive space which will allow me to expand my sales circle.
Which areas do you service?
Primarily North Jersey, down to Red Bank & over to Flemington.
Who owns your company or runs daily operations?
I do. I do. : )
What are your hours of operation?
When I'm able : ) And thankfully, almost always when I'm needed !
