PT/INR, blood pressure, blood sugar and/or cholesterol in-home monitoring.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
Working in a hospital telemetry/ICU unit and rehabilitation facility I realized that many older clients either had no way to get to a lab or doctor's office or had to inconvenience friends and family to get simple labwork done. At times because going out was so inconvenient and at times impossible they compromised their health by not having these values monitored resulting in unecessary, stressful hospital stays. This type of labwork can be done easily,accurately,safely and conveniently in their own home or apartment enabling them to be compliant with this as well as other delicate lab values.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
I make house calls! With 11 years nursing experience in the field of cardiac health I am the link between the physician and the client. Last but not least this is a simple, inexpensive service for which there is a great unaddressed need in our hustle and bustle society. Other services in this area tend to be expensive and complicated.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
I service client's in their own venue.
